Final Fantasy VIII is a a role playing game (rpg) released by Square (now Square Enix) in 1999 for the PlayStation and for Windows based computers in 2000. It was well received by game reviewers often receiving near perfect scores. Gamers also recived it well and it went on to sell 8.15 million copies by 2003.
